In the midst of New Orleans, in the swamp area by the French Quarter, a gateway between all worlds leads to Purgatory. It layed in the darkest layers of the swamp, and through its misty fog was a paradise land, where all the portals to this gateway became one. Species of all kinds came to enjoy the best liquor the darkest depths between worlds had to offer. Its meadow covered by trees that's blossoms were a bright pink. The petals lying on the ground on the hardened soil. Soon ahead lied a bridge to cross over a creek that lead to the widest and strongest of all the trees. Sitting by the waterfall was a tavern on top of the large tree. Its walls made of oak, as the vines spread far and wide to keep the original look. It looked as if children had come into this place of drinking, it had a seesaw before reaching the doors. Behind the counters stood bartenders cleaning drinking glasses, watching over the lounge and the upstairs. Men and women were treated as equal but at times, also as enemies. The bartenders pour drinks to the tourists. Most of the stools taken as the hookah was crowded with people. Music filled the atmosphere, lifting spirits while some sang and others danced. Bounties were asked of, some gladly being accepted while others being already completed. Any who seek a problem needing to be dealt with could come down here and ask. Some, if you’re lucky, will probably do it for free. Smoke filled a high percentage of the area as well as a mixture of smells that included foul odors, sweet scents, cigarettes, and/or alcohol. As you stayed longer in the tavern, you noticed how the song genre was a large variation, it showed all music was accepted, as long as everyone accepted it. Some fights break out at times, starting as yelling and progresses into a challenge. Fights and killing people here was accepted and at times, was the norm; as long as it is supervised of course. Some of the fights were short though because some opponents just complained, making them be thrown out, or even killed at times.

If argument and drama occur in the establishment, it is allowed to a limit. The person who started it will be exited out automatically unless challenged by victim, or the instigator challenges them.

If victim escalates the situation instead of challenging the person, that individual will be escorted out as well.

Killing is allowed in the area, as obvious sparring is also, but death matches can only be continued if two judges are in the room, or a mod is in there to judge, spectate, and boot if necessary.

Music is allowed to be played inside, if mods allow it and also neutral taste to all others. If a majority don’t like the choice, then it can or will be skipped. If no mods inside then you must decide on your own between each other so no arguments erupt.

Either under any circumstances no sexual content, unless in serious rp, or sexual interactions happen inside. If you wish to show affection over the limit of common sense then you may take it into a pc.

If there are any problems that no mod was around to see happen, please report it and save logs so we may see if the person can be considered banned. If you’re not a frequent visitor then just ignore it, not like you’ll come back if you don’t like the vibe.

This place is a neutral ground. If other party members, besides the members, are antagonized over personal affairs, the opposing party will be kicked out. If peace is wished to be made upon the settlement, then that is allowed.

If a rp is wanted, a majority of the people must join the rp so OOC won’t talk over the rp. If a majority wishes to not rp, then you can leave or wait later to ask again.

If a mod breaks a rule placed on here, they will be asked by another mod, or myself, to exit the area for 20 minutes (That is as long as a boot for a visitor). If no other mod has attended to correct that person of power please raise a vote for the majority to decide. If the mod doesn’t comply with the majority, then please save the logs so we can remove him of power.
More rules shall be updated onto this list if any inconvenient incident happens multiple times to force it to become a rule.
